Crown
Crowns or ‘caps’, cover the entire tooth when the tooth is compromised with a large filling. When a tooth has a large filling breaks or chips, usually the portion of the tooth that is broken is the tooth, not the ‘filling’. Crowns are also placed on teeth that have had root canal treatment because of a probable fracture.
Bridge
Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth or teeth by placing crowns on both sides of a space where a tooth was extracted. The space is filled in with a ‘bridge tooth’, and it is connected to the two crowns.
Extractions
This is the removal on non-restorable teeth.
Veneers
Permanently ‘whiten’, and in some cases, ‘straighten’ your teeth using veneers. Veneers fix spaces and chips with minimal tooth reduction, if any. Veneers mask intrinsic stains, and can also lengthen short teeth. No shots!
Clear Aligners
Clear aligners, also called invisible aligners, fix misaligned teeth and bites. They are a virtually invisible and removable alternative to braces designed around convenience and flexibility.
The aligner trays are made of BPA-free plastic and are custom-made for every patient.Each tray discreetly moves the teeth in small increments.
Aligner trays are routinely swapped out every 2 to 3 weeks until the teeth are straight and aligned. How many trays you need depends on the severity of teeth misalignment (also called malocclusion).
Some aligners do not touch your gums at all. They are trimmed to comfortably sit along your gum line in a ‘scalloped fashion.’ This design makes the trays less irritating and even more ‘invisible.’
Implant Restorations
Dental Implants are placed in the jaw to replace missing teeth. Once healed, the implants are fitted with implant crowns to restore proper form and function of the teeth that were missing.
Comprehensive Treatment Planning
We create a treatment plan for the entire mouth. We inform our patients of the ‘needed treatment’ (cavities, etc) and give plans for restoring the entire dentition, estimating insurance coverage when needed.

Dagmar Colon D.D.S
Dr. Dagmar E. Colon received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1993. She accepted a position in Evansville, Indiana. Dr. Colon established several dental offices in the Evansville and Newburgh, Indiana area. Where she made a home for her and her family for 25 years. Dr.Colon has attended extensive hours of dental continuing education on a variety of subjects. She enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. During her free time she enjoys reading a good book and spending time with her family.
Dr. Colon has been a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the First District Dental Society and the American Academy of General Dentists .She has been a part of several study groups that relate to topics in Implant dentistry, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and pediatrics.
